Shoes

Shoes...Ok so today I want to express how I feel about shoes. There isn't a word that correctly describes shoes. Anyway, to me shoes are extremely important. Shoes represent who you are as a person, how you are feeling the day you wear them and/or just because they match your outfit. Shoes stand out the most. When I look at someone walking down the street or meet someone at a party I always look at their shoes first. Because it's important. If some guy is at a wedding and he is wearing green-brown loafers (not penny loafers-just loafers...ugh) that have a hole where the big toe is and a dollop of cream from the wedding cake-it immediately gives you the first impression of the poor guy. You instantly think of him as the one who hates his job, is lonely, has cats and lives in a tiny little apartment where the only thing in his refrigerator is a carton full of spoiled milk. Let's do another scenario. You see a woman at this wedding and she has leopard print heels with the signature red sole of Christian Louboutin. You immediately think of her as the fierce, hardworking woman, with and excellent job, gets a ton of money in a year, is happily single and really knows how to party late at night. See what I mean? Shoes aren't just things worn on your feet. Shoes are a part of your identity.
